At the China-Zhejiang-Israel Investment and Trade Cooperation Conference held in Tel Aviv, the economic centre of Israel, a number of Israeli businessmen expressed their optimism about the prospect of China's economic development and its vast market, and looked forward to continuing to expand their business in China.
Ayelet Nahmias Vabin, chairman of the Israel Export and International Cooperation Association, said at the meeting that China has become Israel's largest trade partner in Asia and the second largest in the world, as well as Israel's largest source of goods imports, and more and more Israeli enterprises are deeply involved in the Chinese market. Looking ahead, the two countries have great potential for cooperation and should continue to use innovation as a grip to expand cooperation in multiple fields.
Speaking to Xinhua, Amir Gail Orr, Chairman of Infinity Group, an Israeli cross-border investment group, and Chairman of the China-Israel Chamber of Commerce, said that the economic and trade exchanges between Israel and China are resuming in an orderly manner, and cooperation in various fields is facing new opportunities.
Tziril Klayman, General Manager of VIAMESHI, a strategic partner of the China-Israel Chamber of Commerce in Israel, told reporters that many Israeli enterprises have expressed a strong interest in cooperating with China, and the association will continue to do a good job in matching the work of the two countries, helping to upgrade the quality of business cooperation and bring more confidence for mutual benefit and win-win situation.
Ilan Maor, Chairman of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Israel, said that the Israeli business community is optimistic about the Chinese market and looks forward to expanding cooperation projects in various fields. He hopes that more Chinese local governments will hold economic and trade exchange activities in Israel and more Israeli enterprises will invest in China, so as to continue to explore the opportunities and potential of economic and trade exchanges between the two countries.
This is the first large-scale economic and trade exchange event held by a Chinese local government in Israel since China optimally adjusted its anti-epidemic policy. At the event, the Zhejiang-Israel International Investment Cooperation Alliance was launched, and the Zhejiang China-Israel (Linping) Industrial Cooperation Park and Hangzhou Linping (Dano) Global Life Science and Technology Innovation Centre were unveiled. Zhejiang Zhoushan Municipal Government and Israel Innovation Valley signed a memorandum of cooperation.
