New Eppendorf epMotion series of fully automated pipetting stations
Eppendorf Pipette Manager launches new pipette management system
SHANGHAI, April 12, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- The Eppendorf Group announces the launch of two new liquid handling products designed to solve scientists' liquid handling challenges with intelligence and precision, using cutting-edge technology to drive digitalization.
Liquid handling is a critical task in life science research, and Eppendorf has been exploring ways to help scientists improve efficiency and precision in their experiments. Today, we are successfully applying digital technology in the field of liquid handling to create the digital laboratory of the future and help take scientific research to the next level.
New Eppendorf epMotion range of fully automated pipetting stations launched
In March 2023, at SLAS 2023 in San Diego, USA, Eppendorf launched the new generation of epMotion fully automated pipetting workstations.
The new generation of fully automated pipetting workstations continues the high reliability and performance of its predecessor, while maintaining good application openness and reagent compatibility, and further optimising the corresponding ergonomic design for comfortable and efficient platform use and a better user experience.
At the same time, a disruptive design has been adopted in terms of appearance, with a smoother and simpler look and more atmospheric colours.
The new generation of epMotion workstations follows the Eppendorf Group's mission: to improve the human condition, to innovate, to allow people to focus more on their mental work, to allow automated machine operations to replace manual operations and to unleash the full potential of the laboratory.
This iteration of the automated pipetting workstation product line is a further indication that the Eppendorf Group will continue to be deeply involved in the laboratory automation track, which has a wide range of applications. eppendorf will continue to empower the development of China's biopharmaceutical industry and life science research innovation with high performance products and quality services.
Eppendorf Pipette Manager new pipette management system launched
At the end of March 2023, Eppendorf launched Pipette Manager, a digital pipette management system that uses proven mechanical device interaction and IoT technology to act as a "control centre" for interfacing with Eppendorf's electric pipettes. For scientists handling large volumes of samples and working with a large number of complex pipetting steps, this system helps scientists to improve efficiency and pipetting accuracy, further enhancing laboratory collaboration.
Using Pipette Manager's control panel, volume, speed, function mode and more can be quickly entered and all settings are quickly synchronised to the electric pipette for the next step. For complex liquids, a common challenge in pipetting, the Pipette Manager software system provides automatic guidance and function mode switching according to the type of liquid to ensure accurate results.
As an integral part of Eppendorf's digitalisation strategy, Pipette Manager can drive the power of electric pipettes in the laboratory, helping to transform the life science laboratory digitally.
