Thailand's national railway authority and China railway communication signal co., ltd. signed a contract in Bangkok on Wednesday, and the two sides are expected to complete the reconstruction project of Thailand's photon-chunpeng double-track railway within three years.

Number in May this year, China's number two subsidiaries through international holdings co., LTD., and research and design institute group co., LTD., Beijing national railway communication signal to form a consortium to participate in Thailand double track railway reconstruction project bidding and bid successfully, main engineering scope for the Buddha to spring peng communication signal system design, manufacture and supply, installation, commissioning and trial operation, quality assurance, technical training and factory acceptance, etc.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, deputy director general of the national railway authority of Thailand, Mr. Walawu, said the project would be completed in three years and would become an important part of Thailand's railway system. It will benefit Thailand's social and economic development and improve people's quality of life.

Xu zongxiang, President of China express, said in his speech that China would like to carry out more cooperation with Thailand in the field of rail transit, share China's experience, technology and equipment in the rapid development of railways with Thailand, and contribute to a higher level of connectivity between China and Thailand.

The reconstruction project of Thai double-track railway is one of the projects in the strategic development plan of Thai railway. The total length of the fotong - chunpeng route won by the Chinese company is about 420 km, with 59 stations.
