More than a month after the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership agreement (RCEP) took effect, dividends have been released at a faster pace, voice of China Media Group reported. Many places across the country have recently released their report cards on RCEP since it came into force.

In the first month of RCEP implementation, Fuzhou Customs Area made a good start to export, issuing 307 RCEP certificates of origin, and exporting goods worth 109 million YUAN will enjoy RCEP tariff preferences in foreign countries. Among them, a food industry company in Fuzhou has nearly 400 tons of aquatic products exported to Japan with RCEP origin qualification, with a value of about 28 million yuan. These aquatic products will get a tariff preference of about 150,000 yuan when they are imported from Japan.

Huang Guoqing, general manager of a food industry company in Fuzhou, said: Since the implementation of RCEP, our orders have increased by more than 10%. Our orders are now booked until July.

With the increase of orders and export volume, Fuzhou Customs took the initiative to develop tracking service programs for the enterprises under its jurisdiction.

Hefei Customs issued a total of 486 certificates of origin for enterprises in the customs area, which is expected to help enterprises reduce tariffs by 1.756,800 USD.
