Cross-border e-commerce is becoming increasingly important

As an important force in the development of China's foreign trade, China's private enterprises are playing an increasingly important role in the export of foreign trade. In 2021, the total import and export volume of China's private enterprises reached 19 trillion yuan, up 26.7 percent year-on-year, accounting for 48.6 percent of China's total import and export volume and contributing 58.2 percent to the growth of foreign trade. Since China opened its private foreign trade in 1999, the export volume of private trade has increased by 1800 times, accounting for 60% of China's total export volume. In terms of trade partners, China's trade partners are becoming more diversified, and the markets of countries along the Belt and Road have become new growth points in foreign trade. Since the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed in 2013, China's trade with countries along the Belt and Road has become increasingly close. According to customs statistics, China's imports and exports to countries along the Belt and Road reached 2.93 trillion yuan in the first quarter of this year, up 16.7% year-on-year. According to customs statistics, China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached 1.98 trillion yuan in 2021, up 15%. Of this, exports totaled 1.44 trillion yuan, up 24.5 percent. With the rapid development of digital economy, the five-year compound growth rate of global e-commerce has been rapidly increasing in less than three years from 2020 to 2022. Multiple sectors to promote the development of B2B cross-border e-commerce
